So, you want to be a game designer?

This is the home for 2060, a game set in the post-apocalyptic near future. It is also a game that is designed using open source principles, using a wiki platform. This means that members of the community can edit and revise the rules of the game - subject to minor moderation. It means they can write modules, scenarios, special rules for certain situations - all "official" and with license from the publisher. It means that if the current system of combat is too tedious, and you and some pals get together and rewrite it, you can submit your revisions.

The game will be released under the LGPL. We may choose to publish it in hardcover format, as well - that will be decided by the community.

In fact, besides the core rules that were written over 5 years ago, the entire game will be decided by the community. That's the point. So, you want to be a game designer? Join us!
